Aum Triambakm – the three eyed God, Lord Shiva
Yajamahe- whose praise we sing, on whom we meditate, perform yagya , We worship and honour you
Sugandhim- sweet smelling, refers to air, breath, prana, Shiva who is Fragnance
Pushtivardhanam- nourishes all, and grows the health
Urvarukmev- uru is big, aruk is disease, death. Also means ripened cucumber
Bandhanan- bondages, stem of cucumber
Mritoyr- as death, May he librate us from death
Mukshayae- that leads to moksha, or release from the cycle of birth and death
amritat- immortality
